This blog is about our life on our homestead and everything it involves along the way. I am a mother of five children. I am married to my wonderful husband of seven and a half years. We are a homeschooling and cloth diapering family.
We live in the Ozark mountains in Witter, Ar on our homestead in the works of five acres. Our cabin is 16 by 16 feet with a 8 by 16 foot porch. We haul our water in daily and all our clothes are washed by hand and hung on lines to dry. I make our diapers by hand along with our boo boo buddies (no copyright infringement meant).
I am starting at the practice of alternative herbal medicine. Learning as I go what works and what doesn't.
We have a great Pyrenees mix LGD ( our security system ), several rabbits ( for both meat production ) and two kitties ( mousers ). I will be adding to the blog about our experiences and things we learn along the way, including all the planning and building of our new earth-ship home in the works, and our journey to self sufficiency.

Kaci, great job. I can't wait to read more. I think a great addition to your blog would be chronicling the building and designing of your earth ship home. I know a lot of people would find this interesting and helpful!
